DESCRIPTION:4 x 4 Demonstration at the Puyallup Fair. \nEach year at the Puyallup State Fair\, guildmembers demonstrate fiber techniques while they interact with the public. 4 guildmembers demonstrate for 4 hours in the morning and 4 other guildmembers demonstrate for 4 hours in the afternoon. It’s fun for the members that participate and for the public who watch and ask questions. \n. \nLater in the Fair the shawl is judged in a competition with the other local guilds. DESCRIPTION:Sheep to Shawl Demonstration and Competition at the Puyallup Fair. \nEach year before the Puyallup State Fair guildmembers design a shawl\, spin the wool warp and dye the wool warp and weft\, During our day at the Fair\, guildmembers card and spin the wool weft\, warp the loom\, weave the shawl and finish the ends\, all in one day while they interact with the public and demonstrate the above activities. \nLater in the Fair the shawl is judged in a competition with the other local guilds.
