Workshop with Rosalie Nielson — “It’s In the Warp — Color and Design in Warp-Faced Rep”

Go deep into the Rep weave structure in this workshop with Rosalie Nielson. To be held at our St. Andrews location on both Feb 15, and 16, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Approximate cost: $100-$160, depending on class size.
Supply fee includes 3 spiral bound notebooks, netting shuttle, supplies for color wraps, and mailing to a central location for distribution.
Rosalie lives in Milwaukee, Oregon. She teaches classes in Kumihimo, Huck Lace, and Rep weave. She has authored the book An Exaltation of Blocks, KongoGumi: a Cacophony of Spots – Coils-Zags-Lines. The Twenty-Four Interlacements of Edo Yatsu Gumi, and the Thirty-Seven Interlacements of Hira Kara Gumi.
Her Rep hangings have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including three exhibitions in Kyoto, Japan. Her weavings hang in corporate offices and private residences. She has written articles for Shuttle, Spindle and Dyepot, Handwoven, and Weavers’ magazines and the journal Strands.
Sign up at the November meeting. Deposit is $50 plus $25 supply fee, due by the December 13 meeting. Balance of class fee due at January meeting. If any remaining openings, the class will be opened up to non-Guild weavers.
